Tim Kephart is the executive producer of digital for ABC Action News and has spent two decades in the broadcast news business.
I started out at WHNT in Huntsville, Alabama as a studio camera operator and quickly moved through the ranks before ending up as a newscast producer. After finishing my undergraduate degree, I worked in Memphis before leaving for graduate school at the University of Missouri's School of Journalism.
After finishing graduate school, I worked in numerous newsrooms throughout the United States and with the Associated Press.
I've covered numerous big stories over the years, including the Super Bowl, Pro Bowl, Wrestlemania, and the NBA Finals. I broke the story of the passing of baseball legend Hank Aaron worldwide and had an article I wrote while covering the 2020 presidential election used in an impeachment hearing.
When I'm not working, I play the guitar, love concerts, and being outside in the Florida sunshine.
