39 new coronaviruses cases in Florida announced overnight, 4 in the Tampa Bay area

TAMPA, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health announced 39 new cases of the coronavirus late Saturday night, including four residents in the Tampa Bay area.

Citrus County's first positive case is a 60-year-old woman, according to DOH's update. A 67-year-old man in Pasco is the county's second case, while a 47-year-old man and 32-year-old woman in Hillsborough also tested positive.

According to health officials, the new cases in Pasco and Hillsborough county are domestic travel related.

The department also announced that a 17-year-old male from Cuba tested positive in Hillsborough County.

In total, the department's website says 106 Florida residents have tested positive; seven Florida residents in other states have tested positive and are in isolation; nine non-Florida residents have tested positive in the state; and four Florida residents have died from COVID-19.

All of the new patients are in isolation until cleared by health officials, according to the department of health.

All of the new cases announced on Saturday night are:
