TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians wins his first-ever Super Bowl as a head coach, and made his first appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Monday night.

Arians talked about a lot of things, including having his 95-year-old mom come to the game.

“It’s amazing. The couple days she was here she kept saying ‘Chiefs are going down!’” Arians said. “After the game, she said ‘down, down, down. The Chiefs went down.’”

He also got hit with a Gatorade bath.

“I’ve only had one of those my entire career,” he said. “That was way back at Temple. I’m ready for it. But, they got me. That was cold. Man, was it cold.”

As for beverages that did not go to waste, the team held a post-game victory bash at the Florida Aquarium.

“They had divers with Bucs’ uniforms and helmets on,” Arians said. “It was a great celebration. It was awesome.”

Arians said he left the party around 4:30 in the morning, but it was still going strong.

“They said ‘everyone keep your mask on. (Take it off) only when you’re drinking.’ So I had mine off all night.”

When the sun comes up on Wednesday, Arians will be back in the office working towards next season’s championship.

“Try to sober up before Wednesday’s meeting,” he said. “So, it gives me 48 hours to sober up, too.”
