TAMPA, Fla. — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers plan on allowing some fans in the stadium for their return home on Oct. 4.
Bucs officials released plans for a soft opening of their stadium for Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Bucs will allow their longest-tenured season pass members to attend the second home game of the season.
Season pass members with continuous membership since 1998 or earlier will have the opportunity to buy a limited number of tickets starting on Oct. 1.
The reopening plans were made possible after Gov. Ron DeSantis issued an executive order moving the state into Phase 3 of reopening.

“The safety of all involved has been our No. 1 priority throughout this process,” said Buccaneers Chief Operating Officer Brian Ford. “There simply is no way to replicate the energy and excitement that our fans provide for our players on the field. We remain thankful for the opportunity to experience this great season alongside our most passionate fans at Raymond James Stadium.”
The Bucs are set to join the TSA and the University of South Florida for a virtual conference to introduce other elements on the stadium's reopening plan on Tuesday. Sept. 29 at 1 p.m.
