The Tampa Bay Rays received a lot of backlash for owner Stu Sternberg's proposal to share the team with Montreal.
Just a couple of days after a tense press conference rolling out ideas for the plan, a ticket deal was announced for an upcoming home series.
For the July 1-3 weekday series against the Baltimore Orioles, fans had a chance to purchase tickets for just $2 before the deal sold out Monday.
