A school district investigation determined the "offensive question regarding President Donald Trump was not created by the teacher."

According to a district spokesperson, the teacher said she downloaded the quiz from a study application called Quizlet, and did not carefully review the questions before giving students the quiz.

A spokesperson released this statement to Scripps station WPTV in West Palm Beach:

"Despite the fact that the teacher didn't write, or intentionally select the question, the District views this error as a display of unprofessional behavior. The School District of Palm Beach County holds our educators to the highest standards. The teacher has been disciplined."

WPTV has reached out to Quizlet, the software program that students used to take this quiz, but has not heard back.
