We've found tons of secret groups that are helping mom but didn't find too many when it came to dads.
Secret Facebook groups help parents through the struggles of parenthood
Jeff Sullivan thought the same thing. That's why he created the secret group," Dunedin Dads." Well, that and because he saw the success of a similar group his wife is in.
Sullivan says it's an easier, less awkward way to meet like-minded people.
For example, other dads who have similar time restrains because they have kids.
"It's difficult for parents to meet friends and it's a bit uncomfortable to be with my daughter in a stroller and see another gentlemen with his kid just walk up and say "HEY let's make a play date," says Sullivan.
The group is also helping dads who may not be from the area meet new people. They're starting to create events to meet up during the week, as well.
