Fourteen people were arrested in Hillsborough County, accused of stealing a total of 46 cars within 60 days.
Most of the suspects were minors. On average the ages of the suspects were between 15 and 20 years old.
The victims left the cars unlocked and in most cases their keys inside, according to deputies.
Deputies said the thefts happened in southern Hillsborough County and overnight. The thieves stole the cars from neighborhoods and also businesses around Bloomingdale Avenue.
In total deputies issued more than 50 felonies. Three of the minors are facing misdemeanor charges.
According to authorities, they have found 41 of the 46 stolen cars.
