SARASOTA, Fla. — Zachari Brock said he is remorseful after he left the scene of an accident with injuries.

"I just got scared, I have a ten-month-old daughter and I haven’t even heard her say daddy yet,” said Brock.

He said he was turning off US-41 when he clipped Jack Kelley’s car. Kelley’s car flipped several times and then crashed into a wall.

"He came up so fast I didn’t know what to do,” said Brock.

Mike Kelley is upset that Brock was driving without a license. Plus, he wishes Brock would have turned himself in earlier.

"His child is healthy, my child is now sitting in the ICU probably for a long time,” said Kelley.

Kelley said Jack is still recovering at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.

Troopers charged Brock with leaving the scene of an accident with injuries and driving without a license. He is currently out of jail on bond.
