Manatee County Sheriff’s Office deputies have arrested a second suspect in connection with the murder of Alexander Cherp at Lakewood Ranch earlier this month.
Deputies arrested Alan Baily, 17, Friday night. He is being charged with murder and armed robbery, according to officials.
He was arrested in the parking lot of a Home Depot store in Bradenton where he was bitten by a K-9 officers after he resisted arrested.
Jose Hernandez, another suspect, was arrested on Feb. 18 and charged with murder and armed robbery.
Officials said Cherp was found shot multiple times outside of his 2012 grey 4-door Mercedes at Greenbrook Park in Lakewood Ranch in Manatee County on Feb. 5.
