SPRING HILL, Fla. — A pregnant woman in Spring Hill is recovering from a hit-and-run crash.
Jaidyn Maritnez says she is worried what it might mean for her unborn child.
The Florida Highway Patrol says Martinez was rear-ended while stopped at a light Monday afternoon.
It happened on Mariner Boulevard in front of Springstead High School.
Maritnez is eight-months pregnant.
She says the woman driving the white Mercedes that hit her initially came out to check on her. But then the woman drove off.
Martinez tells us her placenta ripped from the crash, which could cause complications.
