TAMPA, Fla. -- The MacDill Air Force Base says three people have tested positive for coronavirus.
According to an announcement on Monday, the 6th Air Refueling Wing commander has "declared a Public Health Emergency" for the base.
The MacDill Air Force base says it will continue to closely monitor the situation. The announcement comes three days after an active-duty sailor who was assigned to MacDill Air Force Base had tested positive for coronavirus.
Officials did not say if the sailor is among the three who tested positive for COVID-19.
