AdventHealth sets up tents to prepare for possible surge of coronavirus cases in Florida

AdventHealth has started setting up tents outside of their campuses amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The tents are part of AdventHealth's surge planning in case extra space is needed to care for potential coronavirus cases in the community.

Crews were setting up the tent on Sunday at AdventHealth's Fletcher Road location.

"The tents are not currently in use but will remain in place as part of our readiness efforts," AdventHealth told ABC Action News in a statement.

Advent plans to test and conduct drills to refine the process of how the tents will work.
