Carrollwood Baptist Church is accepting donations to help flood victims in Louisiana; members of the church plan to deliver the donated supplies next week.

They hope people will donate supplies like bottled water, hand soap, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and diapers.

People, who want to donate, can stop by the Carrollwood Baptist Church office at 5395 Ehrlich Road in Tampa. They can stop by the office between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Senior Pastor Joe Alain said their first trip to Louisiana is on Monday. They plan to make multiple trips. If you can't donate by Friday, Alain said people should not worry because they will continue accepting supplies to take to Louisiana.

"We just want to try to give back, and I think most people want to do that," Senior Pastor Alain said.

Alain lived in Louisiana 25 years. His daughter and son-in-law still live there. They live in Livingston Parish, and they lost everything.

"You want to be there. You want to help them to get through this," Alain said.
