Dr. Jay Chowdappa traveled back home to Tampa from London Wednesday evening. He was on vacation with his family. His flight left before the act of terrorism. He found out about it when he connected in Charlotte. He said he was in the same area two days before the act of violence.

Dan and Olaug Risa were in Tampa, flying home to Norway, Wednesday afternoon.

"A big shocking going there with a car, hitting people and take a policeman down with a knife and everything," Dan Risa said.
