Linda Osmundson, long-time executive director of CASA Domestic Violence Center in St. Petersburg, passed away on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, after a long battle with an undisclosed illness.

“Linda leaves this world with a footprint as big as the universe and her work impacted thousands and thousands of survivors and their families,” Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence President Tiffany Carr said.

Osmundson, 66, has been a part of the ABC Action New Taking Action Against Domestic Violence campaign for the past eight years.

"Her light and her love shine on in the countless number of families saved by her advocacy work spanning more than 30 years," ABC Action New's Lissette Campos said.
