POLK COUNTY, Fla. — After discovering positive cases of COVID-19 on campus, Discovery High School in Polk County is moving all its learning to virtual.

The cases were discovered on Sept. 3 and parents were notified the next day.

Students and teachers are scheduled to return to in-person learning on Sept. 21.

The closure also forced the cancellation of Discovery High School's football game versus Tenoroc High.

Since August 19, we've been tracking cases in Polk County schools. Since then, we've learned about 95 cases in both public, private and charter schools.
