Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine should begin to arrive across the country Monday.
The first batch of nearly 6 million doses has already been shipped. That's almost double what Pfizer sent out a week ago.
Florida is expected to get more than 360,000 doses, which will be sent to 173 hospitals across the state, including nearly 50 in the Tampa Bay area.
The state says since Moderna's vaccine doesn't require ultra-cold storage like Pfizer's, it can be delivered to more facilities.
