GIBSONTON, Fla. -- Hillsborough County is temporarily shutting down one of its summer camps after three children tested positive for coronavirus.

The county suspended the summer camp at Gardenville Recreation Center at 6219 Symmes Road in Gibsonton. The summer camp had more than 60 campers, according to Hillsborough County.

Parents were told any child showing COVID-19 symptoms should stay at home and possibly get looked at by a health care provider, according to the county.

The county's park and recreation department plans to reopen the summer camp on Thursday, July 30 after crews finish cleaning up the rec center.
