OLDSMAR, Fla. -- Florida has the second-highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases, behind California. Still, many refuse to wear masks.

Oldsmar city leaders have come up with a way to get more people on board with the mandate.

"We're excited to launch the Oldsmar Face-off Challenge," said Mayor Eric Seidel.

It's a five-week challenge. Council members will come up with a new theme every week. You will have to create a mask. You can use props too.

Once the masks are done, then take a picture or video of you and your team "all masked up."

"It's a fun creative way together everyone involved, " said Seidel.

You have to post the pictures or videos on social media using the hashtag #Oldsmarfaceoffchallenge.

"I loved this idea," said Dori Daniel.

Daniel is the owner of Your CBD Store - Oldsmar.

"There's multiple benefits to this health-wise and winning prizes," she said. "It also helps us get out of our comfort zone."
