Friday, June 21

St. Pete Street Food & Craft Beer Fest
When: 6 p.m. - 11 p.m.
Where: Albert Whitted Park at 480 Bayshore Drive SE, St. Pete

Info: Enjoy awesome food, craft beers and live music. There will be a special appearance from the Tampa Bay Lightning girls and Rolling Thunder. This event is pet friendly and will be fun for the whole family! Picnic chairs and blankets are welcome.

Movie on the Beach—The Meg
When: 8:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
Where: Madeira Beach Recreation at 300 Municipal Drive, Madeira Beach

Info: You voted and THE MEG is coming to Archibald Memorial Beach Park this Friday! Saltwater Destination will be renting chairs once again for the movie. Give them a call at 727-743-1143 if you’d like to reserve a spot up close for the movie this Friday! Also, there will be a pre-party at The Old Snack Shack, Madeira Beach prior to the movie with food and drink specials, live music, and raffle prizes!

Art and Technology Showcase

SummerFest

Info: The LARGEST firework show in all of Zephyrhills returns! Prior to the event there will be a Morning Market featuring 50 local artisans and vendors from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. SummerFest kicks off with an epic dance competition, followed by a watermelon eating contests for both children and adults, and the festival concludes with a 30-minute firework show over the lake. Along with plenty of family-friendly activities, there will also be local food vendors, bounce houses, face painters, balloon twisters and more.

Tampa Bay Yoga Festival

Where: Water Works Park at 1710 N Highland Ave, Tampa

Info: The local yoga community will come together to celebrate International Yoga Day on a beautiful Sunday in the park. There will be 15 total 30-minute classes with different yoga instructors for all to show the public their talents, plus local healthy food vendors, food trucks, and local yoga and health focused market style vendors. Enjoy a fun gathering of happy yogis spreading good vibes, good music (drum circle and mantra music) and good food.

Summer Classics: Cool Hand Luke (1967)
When: 3 p.m.

Info: When petty criminal Luke Jackson (Paul Newman) is sentenced to two years in a Florida prison farm, he doesn't play by the rules of either the sadistic warden (Strother Martin) or the yard's resident heavy, Dragline (George Kennedy), who ends up admiring the new guy's unbreakable will. (Immediately after the screening, retired Tampa Bay Times film critic Steve Persall will lead a short discussion and audience Q&A. The session is included with film admission.)

The Magic of Eric Eaton

Where: Side Splitters at 12938 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa
Cost: $14 (plus 2 item minimum)
Info: Eric is a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and at age 15 was invited to the Magic Castle in Hollywood, California. He puts on a great show that earns him high praise and ovations as well, with his unique blend of magic, charm and comedic wit. All of Eric’s tricks include audience members. From the show’s start to the incredible finish, audience members find themselves on stage trading barbs with Eric and having the time of their lives! This show is restricted to people 18 and older.
