TAMPA, Fla. — Lil Wayne will not be performing with Blink-182 on Friday night due to illness, the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheater says.
The announcement came just hours before Wayne was set to perform. The amphitheater says Blink-182 will perform as scheduled.

This comes after rumors circulated the Wayne may drop out of the tour, following comments he made during a show in Virginia.
However, Wayne shut the rumors down saying he was having too much fun on the tour to quit.
The 38-city tour is scheduled to end in September.
