ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — If you are looking for a cute, little dog you've found one. Spanky is a sweet, 1-year-old Pomeranian mix who's hopes to find a forever family.

Shelter works say Spanky can’t seem to wipe that smile off of his face. They believe he knows he'll find his forever family soon. Could you be his lucky new owner?

According to the American Kennel Club, Pomeranians are easily trained and good pets for families with kids old enough to know the difference between a toy dog and a toy.

Spanky would do best in a home with no small children. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200.
