TAMPA BAY - There will be a few showers or storms early in the day with more numerous heavy downpours and storms in the afternoon and early evening. Some areas will see more dry hours again today and rain totals are coming down some from recent days. Don't get me wrong... today will still be wetter than an average day, but not quite a washout.
Rain chances will still be high through Saturday.
Low temperatures will be in the low to mid 70s. Highs this week will be mostly in the mid to upper 80s.
Big changes are in store beginning Sunday morning. Lows will be in the 60s and highs will top out in the upper 70s to low 80s with low humidity and tons of sunshine! A beautiful autumn day.
Because of the excessive amounts of rain, a number of our area rivers are cresting (or will crest) above flood stage. The hardest hit are listed on the ABC Action News Facebook page.
