TAMPA - Our stubborn pattern will give us high rain chances through the weekend. There will be some breaks in the rain and even some sun at times too, but still a rather wet pattern.
Flooding concerns continue, especially for poor drainage areas and places with a history of flooding. Flood watches have been reissued for part of the area until Sunday night.
As far as temperatures, we'll struggle to push into the upper 80s with some low 90s where they see less rain and more sun.
We WILL see a break by mid-week, as drier air moves back in with southeast winds and more sunshine...
In the tropics, a disturbance WAY out in the Atlantic shows a low chance (10%) of development over the next 5 days. Even if it does develop, it would not pose a threat to our area.
