Tampa International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival makes it mark in the Tampa Bay area for the 28th year, presenting more than 80 movies, indie films and shorts, starting Friday.
TIGLFF executive director Scott Skyberg tells ABC Action News anchor Lauren St. Germain a movie by University of South Florida history professor Dave Johnson will be among 86 movies, films and shorts presented during weeklong film festival.
The film festival begins Oct. 6 with two free movies at Tampa Theatre on Franklin Street downtown Tampa.
Movies times are 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Friday.
