Tropical Storm Pablo becomes hurricane, poses no threat to US

Tropical Storm Pablo became a hurricane on Sunday morning as it moved quickly over the northeastern Atlantic.

The National Hurricane Center says the storm is 535 miles northeast of the Lajes Air Base in the Azores. Maximum sustained winds at at 75 mph.

No watches or warnings are in effect and the storm poses no threat to the U.S.
