MIAMI — Hurricane Hanna was downgraded to a tropical depression as it makes its way through Mexico, the National Hurricane Center reported.
According to the NHC's 5 p.m. Sunday update, the center of Hanna continues to move inland over northeastern Mexico. Hanna has winds of 35 mph and is moving WSW at 9 mph.
The center of Hanna is expected to continue to move further inland over northeastern Mexico, NHC said.
