Clearwater is clearing sand from its parking lots following Hurricane Irma, but it can't all go back on the beach.
Officials haven't said how much sand has been collected, but it cannot be returned to the beach if it is mixed with debris.
But if it is mixed, the sand will be used as landfill cover.
