Police have cleared the scene after the Tampa police bomb squad investigated a report of a suspicious package at a school on Thursday morning.
Police tell ABC Action News the suspicious package was a white bag with small anti-theft devices inside of it and it has been determined that it is not dangerous.
Police say the suspicious package was located at Carver Exceptional Center located at 2934 E. Hillsborough Avenue at approximately 7:19 a.m. The school was evacuated while police investigated, however, students had not arrived to school yet.
Hillsborough Avenue was closed for approximately two hours while police investigated the package.
