TAMPA, Fla. -- Traffic is expected to be heavier than normal this weekend in and around downtown Tampa for the Hot Chocolate 5K & 15K road races. Drivers and pedestrians should plan for extra travel time through the area.
The following roads will be closed on Sunday, December 17, 2018.
3 a.m. CLOSURES
Little Bayshore
Brorein to Bayshore Bridge
Westbound Davis Island off-ramp onto northbound Bayshore Blvd.
Bayshore Blvd. from Brorein St. to Swann Ave.
Franklin St. from Old Water St. to Channelside Dr.
Platt St. / Channelside Dr. from Parker St. to Franklin St.
5:30 a.m. CLOSURES
Bayshore Blvd. from Swann Ave. to Gandy Blvd.
All roads should be open by 11:30am.
