Cone Zones: Tampa Bay Area road construction projects that could affect your commute 11/26 to 12/2

TAMPA, Fla. -- The following are major construction projects with major road closures and/or detours for the week of Sunday, November 26 through Saturday, December 2, 2017.

I-75
The southbound I-75 ramp to SR 52 (exit 285) may be closed between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday nights. (November 28-30)

DETOUR: Traffic will continue south to County Road 54 (exit 279). Drivers can then re-enter northbound I-75 and use the northbound exit to SR 52.

VETERANS EXPRESSWAY
All northbound lanes of the Veterans Expressway will close at Linebaugh at 10 p.m. Wednesday, November 29 through 5 a.m., Thursday, November 30. DETOUR: Exit at Linebaugh Ave (exit 7), head east toward Anderson Road, then north on Anderson to Gunn Hwy, head west on Gunn Hwy to re-enter the Veterans Expressway.

SUNCOAST PARKWAY
The northbound entrance ramp from Van Dyke Road will close from 12 a.m. Wednesday, November 29 through 6 a.m., Thursday, November 30. DETOUR: Travel on Van Dyke Road west to Gunn Highway, then travel north to Lutz Lake Fern Road, then east to enter Suncoast Parkway.

The southbound exit ramp to Van Dkye Road will close from 12 a.m. Thursday, November 30 through 6 a.m., Friday, December 1. DETOUR: Exit southbound Suncoast Parkway to Lutz Lake Fern Road, travel west to Gunn Hwy, then travel south to Van Dyke Road.

The northbound exit ramp to SR 54 will close from 12 a.m. Thursday, November 30 through 6 a.m., Friday, December 1. DETOUR: Exit northbound Suncoast Parkway to Lutz Lake Fern Road, travel west to Gunn Hwy, then travel north to SR 54.
