The Sunshine Skyway Bridge has just reopened to traffic.
It had been closed since before dawn on Tuesday, due to heavy fog which in certain areas is less than 100 feet.

The Florida Highway Patrol urged motorists to seek alternate routes of travel or call 511 for updates.
