Team USA wins the Ryder Cup, crowd serenades players with National Anthem

The United States won the Ryder Cup for the first time since 2008 but the fans also won the hearts of many Americans when they sang the National Anthem at the tournament.

The crowd at Hazeltine National Golf Club gave Team USA incredible support as they waved flags, chanted U-S-A! and "I believe" cheers throughout the weekend. 

Patriotism was in full effect in Minnesota, but it was taken to a whole new level when out of nowhere, the crowd started singing "The Star Spangled Banner" as the sun rose on Saturday morning. 

They sang the National Anthem multiple times for the players. Greats like Phil Mickelson, Rickie Fowler and Jordan Spieth were all seen removing their hats to observe the anthem as they walked the green. 

It seems as though their enthusiasm and support for Team USA definitely worked! Watch the viral videos below.
