The Tampa Bay Rays want to know how the fans imagine their next ballpark.
The organization just launched a new website, www.ballparkreimagined.com, which will serve as a forum of sorts for fans to submit their ideas and input on what they expect and want out of the next home stadium for the Rays.
“The next Rays ballpark will be a community asset, and we need to capture the community’s imagination to help create something we’re all proud to call home,” said Rays Senior Vice President of Strategy and Development Melanie Lenz. “We invite fans to get involved, and we are listening to any and all ideas.”
The new initiative is guided by four vision principles - providing a baseball experience like no other; building a defining icon for the region; creating a smart, sustainable and right-sized facility; and looking beyond baseball to activate the site year-round - and the Rays want this to be something that the community can be a part of and can be proud of.
