Rays and Rowdies start tour to show off trophies, beginning with 2 special appearances

TAMPA, Fla — If you've ever wanted a chance to meet Rowdies Head Coach Neill Collins or Rays player Brett Phillips, now is your chance!

According to the team's website, the first part of the tour will feature some of the players and coaching staff.

Fans will also be able to take pictures of the Rays American League Championship trophy, the Rowdies Eastern Conference Champions trophy and the Petco Park chair that "caught" Mike Brosseau's series-winning home run against the Yankees in the American League Division Series.

Officials say merch and great gifts for fans will be available.

"You can also shop exclusive merchandise from both teams for great holiday gifts. The tour will lead off at the St. Pete Pier from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with special appearances by Rowdies Head Coach Neill Collins and Rays World Series Game 4 Hero, Brett Phillips."

The tour begins at the St. Pete Pier from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, December 3.

Rowdies Head Coach Neill Collins and Rays World Series Hero Brett Phillips are expected to make an appearance at the St. Pete event.
