Former Hall of Fame NFL player Cortez Kennedy died in Orlando at age 48, according to Orlando Police Department.

The former defensive tackle was confirmed dead by the police department, who says there is nothing suspicious to report.

 

 

Kennedy attended the University of Miami and was drafted #3 overall in the 1990 NFL draft.

He played for the Seattle Seahawks for 11 years, and was inducted into the National Football Hall of Fame in 2012.
