TAMPA, Fla. -Bucs offensive lineman Donovan Smith's eager to get the 2020 season started. He's also eager to block for quarterback Tom Brady.
"Obviously, with the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) being back there, the level of play, you know, is heightened," Smith said Wednesday via video chat. "He brings out the best in everybody. We look forward to it as any O-line."
Smigh said you can't put a value on something like a championship experience, and he expects Brady's resume to lift his new teammates.
"He knows the winning ways. He knows how to get to that point. He knows how to finish coming out on top," Smith said. 'To be able to have him in the locker room, to be able to share that wisdom to take our game to the next level- it’s a blessing."
The NFL releases its regular-season schedule Thursday at 8 p.m. Eastern.
