TAMPA, Fla. -- As the NFL gets set to release the 2020 regular season schedule, there are already rumors, reports and leaks of the future matchups making rounds on social media.

The league will announce the regular season matchups on Thursday night, May 7.

Despite coronavirus concerns, the NFL is planning to have a full 17-week regular season schedule and is expected to have its season opener on Thursday, September 10 and Super Bowl LV at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on February 7, 2021. As of May 2020, we're not sure if fans will be allowed to attend the games.

For the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, it's playoffs or bust if the 2020 NFL season ultimately kicks off in the fall.

Tampa Bay shocked the football world by signing 6-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady and just days after the team signed the 42-year-old quarterback, the Bucs traded for Brady's longtime teammate and tight end Rob Gronkowski.

The defense was able to keep breakout linebacker Shaquil Barrett on a franchise tag, as well as re-signing Ndamukong Suh and Jason Pierre-Paul.
