TAMPA, Fla. — CareerSource Tampa Bay is hosting the eighth annual Paychecks For Patriots Job Fair on Tuesday, only this year it's virtual.
The event starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m. The first hour is reserved for veterans only, the general public is asked to attend the job fair starting at 11 a.m.
The event is statewide and matches veterans with employers who value the skills, knowledge and attributes attained during military service.
“We owe so much to our veterans and it’s wonderful that we can offer these hiring events to help those who’ve given so much for our country,” said CSTB CEO John Flanagan. “Last year Paychecks for Patriots event was hugely successful and we’re hoping this year will meet or exceed our numbers. If you know a veteran who is looking to get into the workforce or looking for a new career, we hope you let them know about this wonderful hiring event.”
