The idea of getting groceries delivered to your doorstep may have seemed like a luxury but not anymore. In the face of COVID-19, it has become a necessity for a lot of people.

But now, we have found it doesn’t have to be expensive and it is still a great option as we rebound from the pandemic. Kyle James at Rather-Be-Shopping.com found a few grocery store chains here in the Tampa Bay area who are fighting for your home delivery loyalty. And they are willing to pick up the tab.

"These stores have come up with these promotions. Kind of free ways for you to check out their service and they're hoping you're going to turn into a long time user," says James.

In a battle for new customers, Walmart is offering free unlimited home grocery delivery for 15 days and willing to put a little extra money back in your pocket.

"They also have a one time use 10 dollars off a $50 delivery order. So it's a great way to get 20% worth of free groceries," says James.

Target wants to double that offer by offering one free month of food delivery via its partners at Shipt. After the four weeks, you can cancel if it isn't for you. Just like all delivery orders, you must order at least $35 worth of goods to get the promotional benefit.

Aldi is also getting into the home delivery game. They are teaming up with Instacart and giving you three free deliveries to your doorstep.

"Three free deliveries. That's a pretty good way to test out the service. You can try a variety of products and see if it right for you,"says James.
