TAMPA, Fla. — The City of Tampa is hoping its second annual #ShopSmallTampa Directory will help dozens of local businesses struggling during the pandemic.

It is the second year for the marketing campaign which hopes to connect residents with local small businesses for the holidays.

The directory, which you canfind here, is only up until the end of the year.

This year it features more than 35 businesses that are home-based or brick-and-mortar within the city.

"We as consumers need to go beyond the holiday season to support our local businesses because when we shop local we're not only impacting that local business owner, we're impacting our whole neighborhood community," says Janelle McGregor, the Community Partnerships Manager with the city of Tampa.

The city says last year's campaign generated more than $67,000 for local businesses in marketing.
