An incredible video shows Canadian firefighters in the path of a fire tornado as it swirled with black smoke and flames.
St. Albert firefighters, based just outside Edmonton, Canada, posted the video Saturday to Facebook.
The department also tweeted the video, saying the tornado formed during a brush fire and forced a firefighter to escape into a river.
Answering questions to Twitter followers, the agency said the firefighter has since been released from the hospital.
