TIME Magazine to name 2016 Person of the Year

TIME Magazine will once again name its 2016 Person of the Year.

The award highlights the person who most influenced the news, for better or for worse.

The selection has been narrowed down to 11 people.  They are:

  • Simone Biles
  • Hillary Clinton
  • CRISPR Scientists
  • Recep Tayyip Erdo?an
  • Nigel Farage
  • The Flint Whistleblowers
  • Beyoncé Knowles
  • Narendra Modi
  • Vladimir Putin
  • Donald Trump
  • Mark Zuckerberg

Last year's Person of the Year was German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

This year's winner will be announced Wednesday morning.
