He says he was just trying to get the judge's attention.

Suspected car thief, Calvin Griffith, 30, decided to "twerk" in front of the judge during his bond hearing on Thursday in Miami-Dade County.

The judge, Catherine Pooler, was not impressed and certainly not amused by Griffin's dance moves. She set his bond at $18,500.

Griffith was arrested after he was reportedly caught on surveillance video stealing a Volkswagen from a high school parking lot.

He was charged with burglary and trespassing in a school safety zone.
