Rescue crews are treating two people on board a small plane that crashed into the ocean near Miami.
Onlookers gathered on the beach throughout the rescue.
According to WSVN, the plane is a Piper PA 28.
WSVN also reports the two were able to get into the water. Lifeguards quickly swam and grabbed them. One suffered a bloody nose and the other had a bandaged hand.
Miami-Dade Fire responded to the downed plane just before noon near Haulover Beach.
It's not clear how crews plan to remove the small airplane from the ocean.
