A Sebring man has been charged with 525 counts of child pornography, a record for the most charges ever filed against one suspect by the Highlands County Sheriff's Office.

Rayon Jefter Williams, 34, was arrested on May 23 after the HCSO Special Victims Unit received a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children through Internet Crisis Against Children Data Systems. Williams was charged with six counts of uploading child porn to a Dropbox account and obstruction of justice after he interfered with investigators' attempts to seize his computer as evidence. He posted bond later that day.

On May 24, investigators obtained search warrants and began searching through seized items of evidence. They found a hard drive hidden in a closet. After investigators searched the hard drive, they ended up charging Williams with a total of 525 counts of child pornography. His bond is currently set at $1,202,500.

Deputies say 65 of the charges are second-degree felonies, the rest are third-degree felonies.

Investigators found that most of the images came from Russia, India, Asia and South America. Only a small portion was produced in the United States.

In December of 2016, Williams was banned from SeaWorld after he was allegedly caught taking pictures of young boys in a bathroom at the park. No charges were filed in the incident.
