ORLANDO, Fla. — The onePULSE Foundation held the first of three public meetings on Wednesday to discuss plans for a permanent Pulse memorial, museum and education center.

The memorial would keep the original building intact, only taking out a cross-section for visitors to walk through it. There would be 49 trees planted to honor the 49 victims lost in the shooting.
