Say it isn't so!
After days of anticipation, Publix customers were having a difficult time placing online orders for Publix subs.
All whole Publix subs went on sale for $5.99.
Publix took to Twitter saying:
"Our teams are aware of slowness with the website and app. They are working to get this resolved. Thank you for your patience."
I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. Our teams are aware of slowness with the website and app. They are working to get this resolved. Thank you for your patience. ◘Allison

But that didn't stop customers from sharing their frustration on Twitter:

Y'all need to logoff of @Publix's website so I can order my sub for lunch!

There must be a lot of people ordering $6 subs @Publix because their website is running extremely slow!

Around 3 p.m., we revisited the site and it appeared to be restored.
At this time, we are waiting for a response from Publix as to what caused the issues with their website and app.
Publix's promotion runs until Sunday, Feb. 23 and includes the popular Publix Chicken Tender Sub, which is normally $8.99.
We're guessing the deli will be super busy with this deal. If you want to skip the line, you can order here.
