BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. — One person was killed and another injured after being struck by lightning Wednesday, according to the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department.
First responders were sent to Hendricks Farm in Parkland and transported two patients in critical condition.
They were taken to Broward Health North.
So far in 2018,two people have died in the United States from lightning strikes, according to the National Weather Service.
