PUNTA GORDA, Fla. -- Students at Charlotte High School are showing off months of planning in an epic 9-minute lip-sync video they hope will go viral.

The video was released Wednesday and features a cast of approximately 1,500 participants as the camera winds through campus while students sing along to a mega-mix of recent hits.

Organizers say that more than 70 lip synchers performed and more than 45 clubs were represented. The whole video took about four months to plan, but they say it was filmed in one continuous 9-minute-plus take on a GoPro camera.

"No rehearsal. No cuts. One shot. One take."

The video was produced by Abigail Kirshy, Olivia Kreegel, and Christopher Papa. It was directed by Jennifer Lena and Thomas Kontos.
